Earn your faith pin by going on a door-to-door mission or handing out Catholic tracts in a public place. (Year 1.1)

Earn your hope medal pin by completing a novena for vocations OR pray a holy hour once a week for three weeks for vocations. (Year 1.2)

Show your love of God by building a small altar in your bedroom, with pictures, statues, flowers, prayer cards, Bible, prayer books, etc. OR attend a weekend or longer retreat. (Year 1.3)

Blue Knights Fear of God Medal AwardThe Spear of the Fear of God

Ask an altar server to come and talk to your group about serving at the altar OR become an altar server yourself and talk to another group of boys about why you became an altar server and why being an altar server is important to you. (Year 1.4)

Blue Knights Respect Medal AwardThe Sword of Respect for Authority

Earn your respect for authority pin by getting a copy of "A Man for All Seasons," the story of St. Thomas More, and acting out a scene from it for your Blue Knights Club or other group. (Year 1.5)

Blue Knights Justice Medal AwardThe Breastplate of Justice

Earn your justice medal pin by donating 20 hours of service to a local soup kitchen, St. Vincent de Paul Society, or Crisis Pregnancy Center as an act of Social Justice OR increase your regular pieties by one (i.e. go to an extra Mass during the week, offer up one sacrifice regularly, etc.) as an act of Religious Justice. (Year 1.6)

Blue Knights Self-Control Medal AwardThe Girdle of Self-Control

Earn your self-control medal pin by keeping track for one month of an extra sacrifice you make on Fridays to remember the day Christ died. OR obtain signatures of at least five religious who have taken vows of obedience and chastity. Pray a novena of one decade of the Rosary a day for their continued dedication to their vows. (Year 1.7)

Blue Knights Work Medal AwardThe Bow of Work

Make up a daily schedule including blocks of time for prayers, study, school, sports and leisure activities, making the best use of your time. OR begin a woodworking project to give to charity such as a bird house or shelves. (Year 1.8)

Blue Knights Humility Medal AwardThe Sandals of Humility

Earn your humility medal pin by practicing "the first shall be last and the last shall be first." For a month, log every time you voluntarily went last to be served, when waiting in line, when asking for something or getting someone's attention. Offer up these little sacrifices for the poor. (Year 1.9)
